Canberra, at 650mtr above see level, surrounded by the Brindabella Ranges, with Mt Bimberi the high point at 1913 mtr (6200ft). Although Canberra has many beautiful clear sunny days, with very little snow, 0-minus 5 deg C is not uncommon during the winter months at dawn, climbing to around10-12 deg during the day. Yes on the Saturday watching Aiden playing football, (Team coached by his dad), the temp was 6 deg max today. Yes it was cold, Tiarni and myself are the only two spectators watching from the sidelines.
