After a lovely few days in Tamworth, time to hit the road 0n our way to Gosford. My brother Tim, who also has a van, has lived hear for many years since his retirement after a working lifetime in the RAAF.

Stopped at Lake Liddell for a snack, which is just south of Muswellbrook.

Big brother Tim, saved us a spot to park the van outside his apartment.

Tim took us to Terrigal on the Pacific for some breakfast.

The Womens World Cup was held in Australia during the month of July, well below is where the England squad stayed. No wonder they didn’t want to go home, great spot, beautiful beaches.

Gosford is a waterfront city at the northern end of Brisbane Water, approx 80 klm from Sydney, and 85klm south of Newcastle. Gosford including the surrounding suburbs, has a population of 180k. Many commute to Sydney from this region as the line is electrified and commutes are regular with reasonable travel times.

Gosford has a humid subtropical climate. This area of the Central Coast is one of the best location to live and visit, with spectacular geographic scenery and lush bushland.

At the bottom of Tim,s street there are wonderful Japanese gardens.
